Agia Irini Psychiatric Clinic of Drama is set within a lush green estate of 24 acres, surrounded by peaceful plains, with views of Mount Pangaio to the southwest and Mount Falakro to the northwest. The Clinic is located just six kilometres from the city of Drama.
Our psychiatric care services are delivered within state-of-the-art facilities spanning 8,000 m², housing 236 fully equipped inpatient beds distributed across single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms.
The patient rooms are organised into six specialised nursing units, all benefiting from excellent natural light and ventilation. The size of the facility allows for clear separation and categorisation of the units, which promotes a safe, well-organised, and calm environment for residents. In addition, 12 high-dependency rooms ensure a high standard of care, with continuous 24-hour supervision by nursing and medical staff, supported by discreet camera monitoring.
Agia Irini offers a range of facilities to support both therapeutic care and quality of life, including a fully equipped gymnasium, multi-purpose activity spaces, a screening room for films, a library, a dining hall, a pharmacy, and shared lounges with televisions in each nursing unit.
The outdoor spaces, set in a secure and green environment, are ideal for walking, exercise, recreation, and safe social interaction. They include well-designed communal areas, such as a wooden gazebo, offering residents and visitors a peaceful place to relax and connect. Parking facilities are available for visitors and staff. A chapel, built at the Clinic’s founding, serves as a place of worship and reflection for all residents and visitors.
All meals are prepared on-site in a dedicated, fully equipped, and hygienically certified kitchen, in line with modern health and safety standards.
